We stayed for 9 days—we travel a lot—and this was one of the nicest apartments we've ever stayed in.
Everything you need is there, including a washing machine.
Extremely tastefully furnished, lovingly decorated down to the last detail; there was even a pot of fresh basil in the kitchen!
The bedroom and terrace offer a view of ancient ruins.
Spotlessly clean, perfect air conditioning, comfortable bed, and more towels than needed.
It's a bit outside the center, but has good transport links.
And there are authentic restaurants nearby without tourist traps:
"Crudo" for fish and seafood, "Papa Non Vole"—simply heavenly!—and Cornetto Mania for fantastic pastries.
The hosts: absolutely charming.
The absolute highlight:
The large rooftop terrace.
Beautifully landscaped, with a porch swing, dining table, several cozy spots in the sun or shade, and our own cute little gecko…we wanted to see Rome, otherwise we would have happily spent the whole day drinking wine on the terrace.
We also enjoyed two evenings with our own private Italian picnics, using supplies from the nearby supermarkets.
Not wheelchair accessible, on the first floor, reachable via stairs.
Not suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, as it's located in a flight path, with a main road right next door and parties on Saturdays.
