Convenient walking distance to Trastevere, Aventino Gardens; by tram direct to the historical center (Piazza Venezia). There are supermarkets nearby. Various types of food: pasticceria, pizzerias, trattorias, bars. Testaccio market for purchasing authentic products. At 400m, Viale G. Marconi, quite convenient for various shopping.
Closed courtyard, ground floor, convenient digital lock.
Heating is provided by two electric under-window air conditioners and two electric heated towel rails. For the end of February with above-zero temperatures during the day, I did not experience cold.
The kitchen is equipped with a functional electric kettle, capsule coffee maker, induction hob, oven, and a set of utensils for cooking (of the absents, I found only moka, deep bowls for cereals/muesli, and wine glasses). Pots with lids, frying pans of safe quality! A basic set of products for the first meal has been carefully prepared: drinking water, pasta, sauce, salt, oil, vinegar, pepper, crackers, milk, jam, coffee capsules and tea.
I believe the apartment can comfortably accommodate 3-4 adults (honestly, I didn’t check the functionality of the sofa in the kitchen area), here are two functional bathrooms.
Pure cotton linen and a comfortable bed in the bedroom. Good quality towels! The shower has decent water pressure and there is a hairdryer. Liquids for personal hygiene are available (liquid soap, shampoo, shower gel). To maintain order and cleanliness, everything is also prepared (first-aid kit, rags, garbage bags, care products, vacuum cleaner, mop, etc.).
Interesting designed chandeliers in the rooms and clever electrical outlets by the bed! USB and type-C connectors are directly connected. You won't need adapters! Special thanks for this!! Modern TV in the bedroom, stable Wi-Fi signal.
There is a great opportunity to refresh and quickly dry your clothes, which will free you from the need to carry a large supply of luggage with you! Washing liquids available.
The only thing that can complicate your stay is your sensitivity to outside noise. Noise arises from the entrance door, elevator movement, increased activity of neighbors and traffic directly under the windows. It was not very comfortable for me to keep the windows and curtains open. In the mornings, on the site near the parking lot opposite the kitchen windows, someone brings bird food - it’s very funny to watch Roman gulls!
On the night from Saturday to Sunday, traders prepare stalls at the Porta Portese market: literally under the windows the shopping rows ended. (The market is very extensive, if you want to be sure to find a decent vintage, you need to get advice in which part of the market they sell exactly this. Under the windows of the apartment there was only sewing goods and a discount assortment).
Communication with the owners is very clear, functional and timely! Iole was very kind and helped me get to the station by car with my luggage upon arrival and departure!
Without a doubt, I would stay here again during my next Roman holiday.
